Grand Tetons Ranch, Wilson, Wyoming
Leaves
The setting for Leaves is a private ranch adjacent to the majestic landscape of Wyoming’s Grand Teton mountain range. A dominant texture of the ranch is the many trees enveloping the property; the simple shapes of their leaves inspired the sculpture. The artist chose to make a tall white granite sculpture to take advantage of a reflecting pond which captures the glow of the white stone. Leaves is also visible from the ranch home’s living room window.
